Cherry Tomato Sauce

There was a sale on overripe cherry tomatoes, the last of the season, and I've been eating them with everything. Want to know a secret? I like to cheat with my recipes. I like a nice pasta sauce from scratch, but there's not always the time to let it simmer away, so I like to add fresh ingredients to a store bought sauce sometimes.

Cherry Tomato Sauce
Like usual, there's not really any recipe! I just sauteed some garlic in olive oil, then threw in cherry tomatoes cut in half, let those get nice and soft, added some pre-made tomato sauce, then added some fresh basil, then let it bubble together in the pan until the tomatoes were as wilted as I wanted them to be. Done!
